EventsAP Calculus & AP Statistics Practice Exam MATHWEST extends to you and your students an invitation to attend the AP Practice Exams sponsored by MATHWEST. On Saturday, March 31st well over 175 students in Western Massachusetts will take the AP Calculus or AP Statistics released exams to prepare for the actual tests by the College Board in May. The session will allow students to take either the 2008 AP Calculus or 2007 AP Statistics exams in an appropriate and timed atmosphere. Students will start the exam with the open response problems, followed by the multiple-choice sections. This is done to allow time for the instructors to grade the open response problems while the multiple-choice sections are administered. Following the exam, lunch will be served. Before students leave, they will receive their graded test, a score, and a complete answer key.
Again, this year, students must be accompanied by a faculty member from their school. It is our hope that the faculty member will assist with grading. All educators that attend will receive a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble for materials complements of MATHWEST. The registration deadline for participating is Friday, March 16th. At that time, a registration form for each student must be sent in, specifying the student’s school and exam they wish to take. The registration fee or school purchase order must also be included with registrations. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Scott Trahan.
