AP Calculus Practice Exam
Date: Saturday, March 28, 2009
Time: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Location: First Baptist Church in Agawam
Registration Deadline: Friday, March 20, 2009

Cost: $13 per student which includes materials and lunch

MATHWEST wishes to extend to you and your students an invitation to attend the AP Practice Exams sponsored by MATHWEST. On March 28th, nearly 200 students in Western Massachusetts will take the AP Calculus AB or BC released exams to prepare for the actual tests by the College Board in May.

The session will allow students to take the 2003 AP Calculus exam in an appropriate and timed atmosphere. Students will start the exam with the open response problems, followed by the multiple-choice sections. This is done to allow time for the instructors to grade the open response problems while the multiple-choice sections are administered. Following the exam, lunch will be served. Before students leave, they will receive their graded test, a score, and a complete answer key.

Testing will take place in Agawam at the First Baptist Church on Main Street. All AP Calculus students with their teachers in Western Massachusetts are invited to attend. The registration cost is $13 per student and will help to defray the expenses of the event, which includes materials and lunch for all participants.

This year, we are requiring students to be accompanied by their teachers. However, each teacher who volunteers to help with grading will receive a gift certificate for AP support materials compliments of MATHWEST.

The registration deadline for participating is Friday, March 20th. At that time, a registration form for each student must be sent in, specifying the student’s school and exam (AB or BC) they wish to take. The registration fee or school purchase order must also be included with registrations.
